Education for All
About the Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic has one of the lowest rates of investment in education among Latin Americas and Caribbean countries. Without sufficient funds being invested in school supplies and infrastructure, Dominican children are missing out on learning and their hopes for a brighter future are dashed. Along with problems in education, children suffer significant and chronic health and nutrition problems. Areas of particular concern are access to care, maternal child care including nutrition, general hygiene, and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STI), including HIV and AIDS.
Education for All Program
This program aims at providing students of low resources what they need to be successful in school. From pencils to notebooks and everything in between this program is designed to help hardworking students achieve their goals in school.
