We need your help in order to keep doing the great work we are set out to do. As part of our next endeavor we've planned to bring smiles to hundreds of kids and we can only accomplish this with your help.
Our next project: We are planning to help various communities in the Dominican Republic by organizing our Education for All and Health Awareness programs.
The Regalandon Sonrisas program aim is to bring smiles to children of low resources on the celebration of long standing tradition in the Dominican Republic (El Dia de los Reyes Magos). This is the traditional day for gift giving to kids as compare to Christmas Day in the United States. On this day kids of all ages expect to find a gift under their bed. Too many kids don't get the opportunity of receiving a gift and becoming part of this strong Dominican tradition.
Our Education for all program aims to help our kids with basic needs for doing their school work. These include but it's not limited to all types of school supplies.
Our Health Awareness program aims to provide very needed physical exams to children and teenagers who are part of the school system.

Regalando Sonrisas 2017
This upcoming Sunday January 2017 Sonrisas de Niños will be giving smiles in an event that will host hundreds of kids in various communities in the Dominican Republic. During these events we will be celebrating the Reyes Magos, and will provide entertainment such as clown, face painting and children music, as well as a toy to every child attending.
Sonrisas de niños foundation is preparing for our next big event in which we will be promoting the need for better education meanwhile providing as many children as we can the tools they required to succeed in school. During this even 'Education for All' we will give selected children and young adults who are enrolled in school a Book bag with all the utensils needed for the school year, from note book to pencils among other.
We are also planning to provide physical exams from top medical staff for all children participating in the event. Our mission here is to help our students with the basic needs of schooling, meanwhile promoting good health. It is worth noting that getting doctor checkup before attending school is not part of the norm in the Dominican Republic especially for children of low economic resources.
At Sonrisas de Niños we understand that our health is of great importance and that a doctor check up makes the different between a healthy school environment and one with an epidemic outbreak. Please join us on helping hundreds if not thousands of children.
